A Sucker for Seersucker!

There are 2 fabrics that I love the most in this world....seersucker and patchwork madras plaid! Since madras doesn't monogram well (you can't really see it since the fabric is so busy), I guess you'd have to say the best is seersucker!

So imagine my happiness when I came across these cute seersucker bags to monogram! I've given several as gifts, and of course, my little monkey had to have a matched set. They take a monogram so well, and I love that the colors can be for boys or girls. Spring Is In The Air!

Yea! My family is pretty much over being sick, and with the weather being so beautiful, we had to get out and enjoy it this weekend. We went to the beach twice, went to the park, headed to an outdoor festival, and enjoyed ice cream on the patio. I mean, this is the weather we've been waiting for! Of course, now I'm realizing that I don't have enough spring stuff ready for my little monkey! So, we've opened back up the Monogramming Factory to get busy getting everything ready for him. I'm staying away from the beachy themes for right this minute.....he'll be wearing that all summer. Here's what I'm liking right now......

Monograms

Living in the south, monograms are never out of style! The only thing is finding cute new ways to personalize your items. Here are a couple of our newest designs that can make a statement that's all you. The first is a patch that can accommodate almost any font and the second is the new applique monogram font. A Bunch Of Yuck!

Well, I've had my hands full around here lately, and it has nothing to do with monogramming! Last Monday I pulled a muscle in my back loading the dishwasher. It started hurting almost immediately and I knew that it would get worse if I didn't rest it ASAP. So, I headed to bed. Then on Tuesday night, I ended up with a sinus infection while still in bed. Luckily, the grandparents jumped in to help with the monkey so he wasn't running wild while I was recuperating! I was finally better on Saturday, but that was short-lived, because Saturday night, my husband got sick with a virus going around. I was sick by Sunday afternoon, and now the little one is sick, too. We're all lounging around the house being pitiful and really not having fun at all! Hopefully, we'll all get better soon and be back to the fun of monogramming!
